Tutorial – Hide Matches

Hide matches

Sometimes Panaustik finds matches whose images you want to keep (e.g. images of different people in front of the same scenery). You can of course remove them from the group, but they will come back the next time you run the software.

In version 1.6.2, it is possible to no longer see these image pairs the next time you use the software.

To do this, in the “duplicates” tab, right-click on the image pair you want to hide. In the context menu, click “Hide this match”.

  • If the group had only two images, it no longer appears in the group list.
  • If it had more than two images, a mark is displayed to indicate that some matches are hidden.

In future runs, if images have been added that create matches with hidden images, they will appear again.

If necessary, hidden matches can be restored.

  • For partially hidden groups, via context menus.
  • Via the “Hidden duplicates” tab
